Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the combatants confronted each other to promote next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex two-time unified heavyweight champion Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I plan to damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of such comments, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually recognized for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK rival Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
However, the novice remains one of boxing's largest money-making draws, regularly earning huge financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in round four or five and asserted he would stop the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Size Difference
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the traditional stare-down, with their height and weight contrast evident, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the bout is actually happening.
